inFORM's open-designer, drag n' drop data mapping tool, iMap 3.0 now supports database mapping and adds new intelligence to fields, including conditional routing, color, bursting/sorting options and a sundry of features for designing intelligent and powerful IBM i reports, forms, checks and other business documents.
Features:
- Open Designer support: Use WORD, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint or inFORM's state of the art designer to design business forms, reports and checks. With version 3.0 now supports database mapping as well as spool file mapping, setting up conditional routing fields (SmartRouting) and various other intelligent field options.
- With inFORM's latest release of iMap 3.0 a cornucopia of new features take this mapping tool to an unprecedented level. Although mapping data to forms from a spool file is the most accepted method for setting up electronic document projects, users can now map data from database files anytime a spool file isn't necessary. Additionally, fields can be conditioned with intelligent routing instructions to be emailed, faxed, printed, and archived automatically on a page-by-page basis.
- iMap can now define color data - even when based on a condition. For example, if iDocs (our exclusive document-automation software) finds a specific defined condition, it can change the color of the block of text to any color. Additionally, a new powerful print preview feature allows users to print to any local printer with any driver.
